A week or two ago I decided I wanted to drop the trans in my Z to fix an oil leak and to inspect the clutch. What I thought would be an evening job, turned into me pulling the motor to freshen every seal/gasket up. Once the engine was out I got depressed on how 20 years of abuse and me hacking it, took its toll on the engine bay. I have always shy'd away from body work due to my lack of patience however through some guidance from my pops I decided to do this on my own. Here was the car Friday night. Lots of bare metal, lots of holes, etc 
LOTS of prep, more prep, removed the secondary clutch line bleed (switching to single braided), filled some unused holes, scuffed, and primered Saturday 
Shot the engine bay today, letting it cure overnight 
Waiting to go back in.... 
I am really happy with the way it turned out. It was fun and interesting getting the technique down and finally getting into it. I am hoping to end up painting the rest of the car this year
